You just frame the shot and Face Detection does the work, simultaneously and accurately finding faces for bright, clear results. During playback of group portraits, you can "Zoom Up" on detected faces and check them one by one. If you find a priceless expression, Face Detection and high resolution are ready to automatically "crop" and save a "portrait" of the detected face.

Intelligent Scene Recognition
Automatically sets the optimal shooting / scene mode to get perfect pictures every time.
Intelligent Scene Recognition mode automatically selects the most appropriate shooting / scene mode for each scene you are trying to capture. Selecting between 6 scene modes - Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Night, Portrait, Backlight Portrait - Intelligent Scene Recognition will automatically use the camera's optimal setting for the subject or scene. This mode will allow you to capture beautiful pictures with the right focus, exposure and white balance, all by pressing only one button.

• Portrait
  The camera automatically switches to Portrait mode to reproduce the colour of the face perfectly. This mode also uses Face Detection technology to optimize the focus and exposure.

• Landscape
  Switch to Landscape mode to capture all the details in focus and optimize sharpness to reach superior image quality.

• Night
  When the camera is switched to Night mode, it automatically adjusts shutter speed and sensitivity for clear and blur-free results.

• Macro
  The camera automatically switches to Macro mode when the subject is closer to the lens than normal

• Night Portrait
  Capture both the portrait and the night background beautifully with the right light and exposure

• Backlit Portrait
  Capture both the subject and the background that is under backlit conditions
