HS System (12.1 MP)
HS System excels in low light allowing you to capture the real
atmosphere of the moment without the need for flash or a tripod. A
high performance DIGIC 4 processor and high sensitivity image sensor
give superior image quality in all situations.
28mm with 14x zoom and Optical IS
A wide-angle lens with a huge 14x telephoto reach of up to 392mm*
(*35mm equiv.) allows you to frame exactly the shot you want,
whether shooting panoramic landscapes or zooming in on distant
subjects. The optical Image Stabilizer provides a 4-stop benefit so
you can shoot 4 shutter steps slower than would otherwise be
necessary to achieve a blur-free shot.
Full HD with optical zoom. Dynamic
IS and Stereo sound
High quality movies can now be recorded in Full HD 1080p format with
stereo sound. The optical zoom can be used for filming while Dynamic
IS reduces the effect of shake and movement while shooting on the
move.

LCD
Images are easy to frame thanks to a large 7.5 cm (3.0”) high
resolution PureColor II G LCD. A tempered glass outer layer offers

High-speed Burst & Super Slow
Motion Movie
Capture fast-paced action using the High-speed Burst mode or slow
down movement using
Super Slow Motion Movie mode. Both modes provide dramatic and
spectacular ways of recording fast-moving subjects.
Movie Digest & iFrame movie
Movie Digest captures up to 4-seconds of the action before a shot is
taken, joining all the clips together from the same day into a
single VGA movie to add to your collection of photos. The iFrame
video format is a simple way to quickly import, edit and share
video.
